This site is a tribute to Mark . He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Many of you knew Mark as the ultimate sportsman be it football, golf or bowls. He played to win and has received many trophies and accolade’s over the years with numerous mentions on newspapers.

I’ve known Mark since I was 18 and know how caring and thoughtful he really was. He always put other people first unless he was competing and has done so much for charity over the last 30 plus years. This is quite a long message but please read this to the end. Sadly I have to advise you of my husband Mark Adams passing away.  Following a 15 month battle against cancer 20th March 2022. I apologise for misleading anyone, everyone knows how I don’t like lying, but Mark didn’t want anyone to know how serious it was and didn’t want anyone else seeing him in the condition he was in. Mark always wanted to be known as reality, and the reality was that Mark spent over 30 years doing charity work. He founded and set up A.D.D.U.P attention deficit disorder uniting parents in Hornchurch and founded the S.A.S group special autistic support group in Clacton supporting 57 children and their families. He raised monies for many other charities including guide dogs for the blind and local theatre groups to name a few. He then went onto being a volunteer woodwork manager at C.A.D.O.W.S Clacton and district occupational work shop helping special needs adults obtaining gainful employment . He really was the most kindest and caring man I knew. As such Mark isn’t going to having a funeral or a wake doesn’t want any flowers instead he would like to make the most of the monies as he always had and if anyone would like to make a donation to St Helena’s Hospice in Colchester in his name that would be his wish. The hospice were truly the only people who helped Mark towards the end and enabled him to be able to stay at home in comfort for the last few weeks of his life. Even in death Mark is considering charity first he truly was a wonderful husband and my soulmate
